Easter Celebration a Success!

The Sixes RFPD’s annual Easter celebration was a tremendous success, welcoming more than 120 attendees and an outpouring of community support.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Sixes River Grange for generously providing the venue, and to the Weiner family for allowing us to use their field for the 2,000-egg Easter egg hunt. The hunt was made possible through the continued sponsorship of ESA and the Port Orford Senior Center, and we are deeply grateful for their support for the second year in a row.

The Easter Bunny made a special appearance, delighting children and helping make the day memorable. Guests also enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast, expertly organized and prepared by Sam Ross and her dedicated team of helpers.

This year’s Duck Derby winner was local resident Ciaran Fraser, owner of Café 2.0. The SCARR team swimmers did a fantastic job wrangling the ducks, ensuring not a single one was left behind.

We are truly thankful to have shared Easter with our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this a joyful and successful family event.
